WHAT YOU WILL DO

The xEV Field Technical Support Specialist, based at the Eastern Zone Office in Brossard, QC, supports daily operations of xEV high voltage repairs across Canada. Reporting to the Manager of xEV Field Technical Operations, the Specialist provides remote and on-site technical support to the dealer network, with a focus on, but not limited to high voltage systems. The role also delivers technician training emphasizing high-voltage systems and safety. To effectively support the Eastern Zone, where high concentration of xEV exists, fluency in both English and French is essential.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

-    Provide remote and on-site technical support to dealerships across Canada.
-    Perform in-depth diagnostics and assist dealers with complex repair procedures, with a focus on, but not limited to high voltage systems.
-    Support daily operations of the xEV high voltage repair committee, ensuring diagnosis, repairs and replacement actions are carefully coordinated.
-    Track parts orders, inventory, tools, and equipment required for efficient xEV field repairs.
-    Deliver technical training to dealership technicians, emphasizing high-voltage system and safety
-    Document and report product quality or safety concerns through field reports or QIR submissions
-    Coordinate with high-voltage battery recycling, refurbishment, and remanufacturing partners ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and alignment with corporate sustainability goals
-    Assist with technical issues and vehicle inspections as requested by HACC staff when necessary
Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions
Completion of a secondary school diploma and college, e.g., diploma / certificate / trade license.
    ... or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
-    Excellent automotive technical skills with strong diagnostic capabilities
-    In-depth understanding of high-voltage systems, components, and safety protocols
-    Hands-on experience with xEV repair procedures and diagnostic tools
-    Strong communication skills in both English and French (spoken and written)
-    Experience with teaching/coaching technical aptitudes
-    Knowledge and experience of dealership operations and customer service practices
Ability to work independently and travel on a regular basis
