WHAT YOU WILL DO
The position’s primary purpose is to provide technical training to Hyundai dealership Technicians and company employees based on our Technologies and New Models.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
• Design and deliver technical programs targeting Dealership Technicians and Hyundai Corporate employees
• Assist in developing new courses relative to new and/or modified products
• Prepare training materials and visual aids such as presentations, flipcharts, handouts, and participant assessments/evaluations
• Oversee the Zone Training Facility and assets
• Offer recommendations on new service and repair products and special service tools/equipment.
• Attend Hyundai Motor Company (“HMC”) hosted technical training courses
• Support development of Web-Based Training resources as a Subject Matter Expert
• Maintain course registrations by working with Zone to maximize enrollment and participation
• Report training participation in the Learning Management System on a daily/course basis
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions. Previous experience as an automotive trainer would be desirable.
• Completion of a secondary school diploma and college, e.g., diploma /Certificate / trade license, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Bilingual: French and English
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to prepare, reproduce, and deliver training materials
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of adult learning principles
• Customer focused and service oriented
• Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
• Proven automotive service technician skills
• Must be able to travel up to 25%
• Strong collaboration skills
• Strong automotive technical and analytical skills - required
• Solid automotive electrical theory and diagnostics skills – required
