WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Brand Marketing Specialist supports the planning, development and execution of Hyundai Canada's brand advertising initiatives across broadcast, print, web, CRM, retail and digital channels. Working closely with internal teams, agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders, this role helps ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and aligned with Hyundai's brand objectives.
This role serves as a key lead for advertising production, product launches, model year changeovers, claims management, brand stewardship and customer-facing campaign communications. The Brand Marketing Specialist will also support production requirements for select sponsorship initiatives as needed.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Brand Advertising & Campaign Management
• Support the execution and delivery of integrated brand advertising campaigns.
• Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals and production schedules.
• Work with agency partners and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns align with business objectives and launch timing.
• Monitor campaign progress and support successful execution across all channels.
Advertising Production Management
• Lead production and delivery of advertising assets across broadcast, print, CRM, web, POP and digital channels.
• Manage workback schedules, timelines, approvals and asset delivery.
• Coordinate reviews with Product Planning, Legal, CRM, PR, Events and agency partners.
• Support production requirements for sponsorship and hockey-related initiatives where advertising assets, approvals or production coordination are required.
• Ensure all materials are delivered accurately on time and within budget.
Product Marketing & Vehicle Launches
• Maintain the vehicle launch calendar and support launch readiness activities.
• Coordinate marketing-related model year changeover activities.
• Partner with Product Planning and agency teams to ensure accurate product information across all marketing channels.
• Communicate product updates and priorities to internal teams and agency partners.
Claims, Awards & Compliance
• Serve as the Claims Lead for Brand Communications.
• Maintain the claims tracker, including substantiation, usage rights and approvals.
• Coordinate claim audits and ensure compliance across all advertising channels.
• Support award submissions and implementation of award-based marketing claims.
CRM, Web & Customer Communications
• Support website and CRM content related to campaigns, launches and customer communications.
• Ensure consistency of messaging, claims and product information across customer touchpoints.
• Support the development of mid-funnel campaigns that drive product consideration.
Asset Management & Brand Stewardship
• Manage Hyundai Global assets, imagery, video content and creative tools for the Canadian market.
• Ensure internal teams and agency partners utilize approved assets and resources.
• Act as a steward of the Hyundai brand, ensuring consistency across all customer-facing communications.
Budget & Project Administration
• Track advertising production and project budgets.
• Maintain project documentation, timelines and budget reports.
• Support status reporting and project updates as required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
• Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising or brand communications.
• Experience managing multiple projects and working with agency partners.
• Automotive industry experience is considered an asset.
• Marketing Knowledge (required): Understanding of advertising production, campaign development and integrated marketing communications.
• Project Management (required): Strong ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Communication (preferred): Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Organization (desirable): Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Collaboration (required): Ability to work effectively across departments and with external agency partners.
• Analytical Thinking (desirable): Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities and risks.
• Technical Proficiency (required): Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Self-Starter (desirable): Proactive, accountable and able to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
• Regular office attendance as part of Hyundai Canada's work environment.
• Occasional travel is required for productions, shoots, agency meetings, events and studio days.
• Flexibility to support key campaign launches and production timelines as needed.

Hiring Range: $70,300 - $89,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity
Starting salary is typically offered in the lower to mid portion of the range, with placement determined by the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. Candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience may be considered for compensation up to the maximum of the range.
