WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Genesis Training & Operational Excellence Specialist works with the Senior Manager, Genesis Operational Excellence & Brand Experience to coordinate, administer and report on the training and operational programs specifically designed to support the Genesis Distributors in the areas of Guest Experience, Product and Technical training.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
1. Training Coordination & Delivery
- Host and facilitate virtual training sessions as required.
- Lead new training initiatives and ensure timely execution.
- Schedule, track, and monitor all web, virtual, and in-class training activities.
- Co-host regional and national training initiatives with the Manager.
- Attend training sessions offered by vendors for accuracy of content and brand.
2. Training Content & Program Management
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all product-related training.
- Collaborate with the Manager to lead the development and implementation of new training modules, identifying gaps in curriculum.
- In partnership with the Manager, Business Development, contribute to the design and delivery of training programs for Certified and Protection Product initiatives
- Review training materials for accuracy and brand compliance.
- Review and monitor training contracts for accuracy in scope, timelines, and deliverables.
3. Reporting & Analytics
- Monitor, track, and report monthly on training participation and completion by Distributor staff.
- Generate KPI tracking for Genesis Foundations coaching sessions.
- Develop new reporting tools to provide greater insight and tracking of all departmental activities.
- Manage the Genesis Foundations in-distributor visit calendar and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Oversee the Protection Products training schedule to avoid conflicts with other initiatives.
- Provide monthly updates to internal stakeholders on training initiatives.
4. Distributor Support & Engagement
- Support Regional teams to ensure adherence to Genesis Experience Standards.
- Develop and distribute training communications (e.g., bulletins).
- Guide Distributors on platform access and onboarding requirements for new associates.
- Maintain accurate network listings and distribution lists.
- Communicate directly with the network to resolve access queries.
5.Platform & LMS Management
- Maintain, test, and update the Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting materials.
- Add and test content for functionality.
- Recommend LMS enhancements.
- Act as SME for all Genesis network-facing platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify and leverage platform synergies
- Liaise with platform vendors to resolve network-related issues.
6. Onboarding & Recognition Programs
- Work with the Manager to develop and maintain a Rewards & Recognition program for Distributor staff.
- Collaborate to evolve the Genesis onboarding program and coordinate scheduling for new Distributors.
7. Vendor & Finance Collaboration
- Lead relationships with training vendors.
- Collaborate with Finance to process invoicing expeditiously.
- Gather the necessary information and perform the authentication required to create new vendors.
- Participate in vendor update calls and provide feedback.
- Work with merchandise vendors on new products or the re-order existing offerings.
8. Administrative & Communication Support
- Attend meetings, take notes, and report on next steps.
- Create reports as required. Create presentations for network calls and Distributor meetings.
- Provide support for Genesis-related events as required.
- Manage stock levels of Genesis branded merchandise.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Completion of an undergraduate degree…or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions
- Deep knowledge of automotive market in Canada
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven brand and retail marketing background
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to lead and mentor a large team
- Strong abilities in managing both internal and external contacts
- Bilingual in French is an asset
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and virtual training platforms.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally.
- Attention to detail and brand compliance.

Hiring Range: $61,000-$89,000.
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity”
