WHAT YOU WILL DO
The position is responsible for increasing the residual value of off lease and the re-sale values of pre-owned Hyundai vehicles. The incumbent will support the department National manager to oversee all types of Protection Products.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
- Manage and champion development of Hyundai Canada’s Hyundai Promise Certified Pre-Owned Program (CPO)
- Collaborate with various internal departments to optimize Hyundai Canada’s Certified Pre-Owned Program content
- Collaborate with various internal departments to optimize Hyundai Canada’s Protection Products
- Prepare and obtain approval to run monthly CPO retail rates and communicate the program to dealers and other stake holders
- Complete reconciliation of monthly billings from vendors and lending partners as they relate to Hyundai’s CPO program
- Development, Maintenance and co-management of Hyundai’s Certified Pre-Owned website
- Provide District Sales Managers with needed support in identifying CPO growth opportunities
- Monitor/manage program profitability and propose changes to enhance CPO sales results
- Manage key vendor/partner relations as they relate to CPO
- Work with Hyundai’s IT Department on system change requirements related to program enhancements, pricing changes and new model announcements
- Ensure ongoing Retail CPO sales training is made available to all Dealership personnel
- Oversee and coordinate all CPO marketing and promotional activities
- Develop and manage the annual Departmental budget
- Prepare an annual Business plan, complete with National, Zone, District and Dealer CPO sales objectives
- Monitor and report on used vehicle industry trends within the Canadian industry
- Prepare quarterly reports for Hyundai Motors (Korea)
- Enhancing relationships with third-party information providers
- Work with the residual value team to maximize resale values
- Work with Hyundai’s Lease partners to develop key strategies to improve residual values
- Develop and manage a cohesive used vehicle diversion program
- Identify risk vehicles and implement strategies to mitigate the residual losses
- Leads and oversees the role of Certified Pre-Owned Analyst
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Completion of an undergraduate degree
…or an equivalent combination of experience and education - 7-10 years of relevant experience in same or similar function with automotive experience being desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present in front of Sr. Management.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Working knowledge of SAP

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity
