WHAT YOU WILL DO

The overall responsibility of this position is to manage digital activities including websites, search engine optimization, search engine marketing (SEM), digital web metrics, new showrooms and web maintenance activities and the creation of new online tools and web capabilities on Hyundaicanada.com.
 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead the development activities on hyundaicanada.com, including new tools, enhancements and capabilities. This includes any new back-end system integrations for the site.
  • Lead the website migration process with the support of the Senior Digital Experience Specialist.
  • Collaborating with our agencies to enhance user experience through the implementation of A/B tests and personalized features across the website.
  • Work with the Privacy Officer to ensure cookie compliance across all domains is maintained.
  • Collaborate with Legal and the Privacy Officer to ensure compliance with cookie regulations across all domains is upheld.
  • Lead the ongoing updates to the corporate website, including new showrooms, build and price updates and content creation for new pages/tools.
  • Work with new digital business development unit on integration points between digital sales (Click to Buy)/digital service applications within Hyundaicanada.com or secondary digital touchpoints (events, auto shows and dealerships).
  • Analyze performance and develop reports that measure the effectiveness of key digital performance indicators.
  • Lead all search related activity with third party vendors including search engine marketing (Innocean media team) and search engine optimization.
  • Provide direction, guidance to and oversight of the Information Technology (IT) group and external vendors in the development of online tools.
  • Monitor trends and technologies within the digital space, especially as it relates to OEM and dealer websites.
  • Lead and coach the digital platforms team (direct report and intern) towards achievement of their objectives and implementation of digital projects
  • Assist the Digital Experience Specialist with program management as required, including but not limited to Trader Storefront and Dealer website programs.
     

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS). Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics).
  • Experience working on strategic web development projects
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in same or similar function with automotive experience being desirable.
