WHAT YOU WILL DO

The overall purpose of this position is to manage vehicle preparation, delivery, registration, inspection, tire changes, cleaning, other operations pertaining to the Company Vehicles as required by the Facilities & Administration Department.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Weekly vehicle registrations at the MTO as required
  • Handle the preparation of all cars for “Pre-Delivery Inspection” checks, coordination of vehicle deliveries from compound, ensuring their PDI is complete, add accessories as needed and prepare vehicles for delivery scheduling. Assist with scheduling weekly delivery of staff vehicles, coordination with team members and physical delivery.
  • Handle accessory inventory and shipments, breaking them down, sorting and placing them in storage.
  •  Assist with vehicle closeout operations, data entry, and preparations for sale.
  • Wash, prepare, fuel and maintain Company Vehicles as required and clean display vehicles regularly as requested. 
  • Moving vehicles to compound or north lot on a daily basis as instructed. Ensuring rear lot is clear of used vehicles at all times.
  • Handle delivery of winter tires (200+ sets), manage tire inventory on site, prepare/ exchange/ install tires on vehicles as required,.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in the automotive shop, cleaning up daily and adhering to all safety standards.
  • Assist with Shared Vehicle Pool and other vehicle-related activities and programs (inspection, disposal, repairs, cleanup, etc.).
  • Primary replacement coverage at front desk for receptionist  per determined schedule . Duties include receiving incoming calls, assisting visitors, receiving parcels, and other receptionist duties.
  •  Other duties as required.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience in the same or similar position.

  • Completion of a secondary school diploma, college, or an equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preparation.

  • Driver License required (able to drive standard transmission vehicles)

Hiring Range: $53,000 - $62,100

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.

Starting salary is typically offered in the lower to mid portion of the range, with placement determined by the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. Candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience may be considered for compensation up to the maximum of the range.
