WHAT YOU WILL DO

A Hyundai District Sales Manager (DSM) plays a critical role in driving the success of Hyundai dealerships within a specific geographic territory. Responsibilities are multifaceted, focusing on sales performance, market share growth, and customer satisfaction. The individual is to manage a district of dealerships to communicate corporate updates, ensure all are adhering to policies and procedures, and collaborate on action plans to maximize performance.

The successful candidate may be based out of Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba.  This is a home-office based role, with travel to dealerships expected 50-75% of the time.  The role will report into Hyundai Canada's Western Zone office, which is based out of Burnaby, BC.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

•    Conduct regular dealership visits to assess operations, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with Hyundai standards.
⦁    Provide business-planning support to Hyundai’s dealer network new and used vehicle business to deliver upon the corporate objectives.
•    Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for each dealership.
•    Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to increase vehicle sales, including new and certified pre-owned vehicles, through benchmarking performance to realize competitive improvements.
⦁    Administer within an assigned area the distribution planning, allocation and forecasting activities, to ensure wholesale and market share objectives are achieved.
⦁    Collaborate with Dealers to implement sales strategies, promotions, and incentive programs.
⦁    Achievement of Sales Net Promoter Score (NPS) metrics for each assigned dealership and customer resolution cases.
•    Provide coaching and support to improve sales processes that impact customer experience.
•    Address escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
•    Monitor Dealer operations, in accordance with Dealer Agreements.
•     Support business development needs to National for brand image, changes to facility and buy-sells.
•    Coordinate training and certification activities within the dealership as it relates to the sales, leasing and financing of new and used vehicles.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

•    Completion of an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education
•    5-7 years of relevant experience in same or similar function with automotive experience being desirable
•    Deep understanding of automotive retail operations
•    Excellent relationship management and communication abilities
•    Superior analytical skills
•    Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
•    Ability to influence and motivate dealer partners toward shared goals.
•    Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•    Strong business systems analysis skills
•    Ability to work independently and travel on a regular basis
•    Must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver abstract
