Position Summary:
Supervise Team Members in the Coolant area of Engine. Responsible for planning, coordination, and administration within the Engine department pertaining to the coolant team scheduling and equipment service performed by the coolant team, as well as external suppliers. Position includes project management, analysis, investigation, and collaboration with suppliers and other departments in Engine.
Essential Functions:
- Project management with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain training plan for the coolant team (to include resources).
- Manage the coordination of VIP cleaning schedules with the contracted teams.
- Control costs within the established budget plans throughout the calendar year.
- Lead cost optimization projects to include cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate purchasing process from inception through final payment for Engine projects.
- Support MRO as back-up when needed.
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Responsible for the safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets for assigned area.
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with Team Members and management.
- Ensure time input is properly completed and other coding as required.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and preventative maintenance sequences.
- Verify inspection of materials, equipment, and tools for malfunction.
- Observe work and monitor work processes to ensure Team Members work is to expected standard.
- Use independent judgment and discretion in assigning, distributing, and coordinating the work of the team, as appropriate.
- Ensure quantity and/or quality of work is completed within a given timeframe based on Team Members’ skills, availability, and length of service.
- Implement corrective action in accordance with HMMA policy.
- Accountable for the performance of the team.
- Address or direct Team Member grievances/complaints for proper resolution.
- Attend management-only meetings.
- Participate in hiring and promotion activities as appropriate.
- Participate in probationary evaluations and other evaluations of Team Members and provide recommendations as appropriate.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
Related Experience:
1 – 5 years of job related experience preferred

Additional Information:
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
