Position Summary:

Plan, direct, and/or coordinate staff activities to ensure software validation and improvements while ensuring HMMA policies and procedures are carried out to
achieve established business goals in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage software development related to part controllers, quality assurance, new model launch, strategic planning, and all AQIP KPI targets as assigned.
  •  Project manager for software validation of modules and controller and initial new model launch activities.
  •  Lead problem solving activities; drive follow-up and closure of countermeasures to meet KPI targets.
  •  Lead Team Members in continuous improvement activities.
  •  Manage and control assigned projects, issues, and provide progress reports by required deadlines.
  •  Communicate with Korean domestic supplier base and American supplier base to complete all supplier related tasks.
  •  Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department by providing feedback and developing countermeasures to resolve long-term and ongoing warranty and
  • field issues.
  •  Oversee and support HMMA company policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
  •  Manage overtime and other operational costs in AQIP.
  •  Evaluate performance of direct reports in accordance with company policies including adherence to time/attendance policies, performance metrics, etc.
  •  Establish activities to develop, train, and retain a high performing workforce as well as individual team member mentoring and coaching.
  •  Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management
  • System (SMS) requirements.
  •  Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Related Experience:

*5 – 10 years of job related
  experience preferred
* Manufacturing related experience in
  an engineering discipline desired
* Experience in Trim Exterior, Trim
   Interior, Chassis/Electrical, or
   Inspection

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call
