Position Summary:
Manage the overall supply chain activities which include sales order management, production planning and scheduling, production sequencing and progress controlling, and completed vehicles delivery in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
- Establish and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production schedule for engine after service parts and imported parts based on demand plan.
- Develop and manage production control system with ERP (SAP) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to continually improve productivity.
- Monitor and report present condition of engine to superior in real time.
- Supervise Engine Production Control (EPC) process control specialists and group leaders to maintain harmonious team relations.
- Assist and direct EPC process control specialists and group leaders in problem solving activities and resolve process control related technical problems with an emphasis on root cause analysis.
- Manage EPC process control department’s general administration activities which include budget, KPI (Key Performance Indicators), safety, and subcontract.
- Analyze and resolve problems related to various production issues.
- Assist and oversee the set-up of overall process control activities for EPC.
- Manage and improve production control process and system related issues in EPC.
- Assist and oversee the set-up of overall process control activities in EPC.
- Support other areas to meet overall company objectives.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management
- System (SMS) requirements.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent desired
Related Experience:
5 – 10 years of job related experience desired

Additional Information:
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
