Position Summary:

Coordinate, monitor, and perform specialized technical processes and related functions directly related to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to monitor and control OS&D (Obsolescence, Scrap, & Disposal).

Essential Functions:

• Effectively communicate with HMMA Departments and Suppliers to provide repair parts on time.
• Coordinate and monitor engineering changes to prevent obsolescence or downtime.
• Effectively prepare and present reports and information related to OS&D issues to relevant HMMA Stakeholders on a daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed basis.
• Continually improve the flow of material to HMMA customers for repair and accurate tracking of inventory.
• Coordinate, monitor, and/or participate in plant-wide Quality Promotion activities and ensure effective communication between all key stakeholders to meet or exceed established goals/expectations.
• Partner with other departments to coordinate effective flow of products.
• Continuously cycle inventory to vehicles needing repair.
• Coordinate relevant HMMA Department review of damaged parts to provide understanding of issues and countermeasures.
• Retrieve and deliver needed parts from HMMA Lineside or Warehouses to the required locations.
• Monitor part shortages and coordinate mitigation efforts for any pending shortages.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.
• Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

Position Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering preferred

Related Experience:

0 – 10 years job related experience preferred

Training / Certification:

APICS Certification desired

Skills / Knowledge:

• MSWord
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• SAP desired

Additional Information:

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require oncall duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
