Position Summary:
Executive leader responsible for directing and coordinating activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with the company's quality standards. Responsible for developing and establishing strategies, planning, and implementation for achieving company business plan goals and objectives for quality, productivity, safety, cost, and positive Team Member motivation related to the assigned operational departments in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
- Interact regularly with executive management and individual department heads to ensure that priorities for production operations are aligned with overall company direction.
- Direct, plan, and implement policies, objectives, and activities of the company to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, and to increase productivity.
- Develop, coordinate, and lead all responsible areas’ related activities aligned with company business plan annual goals and objectives.
- Monitor and control all quality, productivity, safety, and cost objectives for continuous improvement.
- Continuously monitor and report established Key Performance Inputs (KPI) progress to executive management.
- Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
- Review operations and confer with technical and/or administrative teams to resolve production or processing problems.
- Develop and implement production tracking systems; analyze production, quality, maintenance, and other operational reports to detect production problems.
- Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
- Provide developmental opportunities for all direct reports.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Team Member may be required to handle hazardous wastes which may include identifying, inspecting, packaging, labelling, and moving waste in compliance with RCRA regulations. Relevant training will be provided if assigned these job duties.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- Advanced degree desired
Related Experience:
- 15 or more years of job related experience preferred

Additional Information:
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
