Position Summary:
Performs comprehensive staffing and recruiting functions for exempt and non-exempt salaried positions, production employees, and temporary workforce.
Administers and coordinates employee functions related to transfers and career opportunity programs in an automotive manufacturing environment.

 

Essential Functions:
Perform comprehensive staffing and placement activities to fill open positions for exempt and non-exempt salaried positions, production (non-exempt) Team
Members, and temporary workers for all departments in the company.
 Compile sources of qualified applicants by researching and contacting employment agencies, recruiters, internet sites, colleges, media, newsgroups, career
fairs, etc.
 Conduct phone screens and interviews with potential candidates.
 Coordinate scheduling and travel arrangements for phone screens and interviews.
 Administer the Career Opportunity Program ("COP") for exempt and non-exempt positions.
 Control internal staffing levels through the transfer, redistribution, and reorganization of Team Members.
 Coordinate physical, drug screen, background verification, and relocation services for identified candidates.
 Lead and/or facilitate employment related projects, processes, and programs.
 Monitor and report applicant tracking for salaried, hourly, and career opportunity program positions. Prepare weekly KPI reports and ad hoc reports.
 Prepare employment-related Internal Communications to Pay and other billing documents as required.
 Coordinate external recruiting activities including job fairs, college and career fairs/programs including display setup, flyer, gifts, etc.
 Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management
System (SMS) requirements.
 Meet all other requirements as assigned.

 

Education:
Bachelor's degree or similar preferred

 

Related Experience:
0 - 10 years of job-related experience in staffing and recruiting preferred

 

Skills / Knowledge:

MS Word  Excel  PowerPoint

 

Additional Information:

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
