HR Planning Specialist
Position Summary:
Support budgeting, administration, operations, and analytics in an automotive manufacturing environment. Oversee headcount, attendance, and budget preparations. Prepare reports and provide expatriate support & duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee headcount for hourly, salaried, and temporary positions.
- Create daily / weekly / monthly headcount reports and prepare daily attendance report.
- Prepare and oversee yearly business plans including manpower plans.
- Oversee and track all headcount changes including hiring, attrition, transfers, etc.
- Develop methods to track and report cross-functional HR analytics and metrics.
- Prepare and oversee department capitol and expense budgets.
- Analyze trends and metrics in HR and the industry to develop or improve programs and processes.
- Maintain the accuracy and data integrity of the department reporting systems.
- Project manager for expatriate relocation to Montgomery, Alabama. Responsibilities include entry and exit for housing, utilities, school preparations, and enrollment.
- Maintain and update database for expatriate staff that includes housing, visa, family, and school information.
- Make continuous improvements to the USA guide to help expatriate staff become acclimated and self-sufficient.
- Prepare detailed reports as required.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
Related Experience
0 – 10 years of job related experience preferred

Additional Information:
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
