Position Summary:

Responsible for administrative and technical tasks in support of human resources payroll functions in an automotive manufacturing environment

Essential Functions:

  • Enter data into a computer system and retrieve, correct, or delete previously entered data. 
  • Review data, records, and files for detail and accuracy. 
  • Review and audit time entry data within payroll system for accuracy; resolves any discrepancies. 
  • Maintain Team Member payroll files and payroll processing files. 
  • Facilitate new hire orientation as it relates to payroll section. 
  • Review and maintain unemployment files, generate responses to appropriate agencies, and generate reports as needed. 
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Team Members, time administrators, agencies, management, and co-workers to promote a quality service image. 
  • Serve as primary contact for HR Services; providing technical assistance to and answering questions from Team Members in a timely manner. 
  • Assist and support payroll related projects. 
  • Maintain daily/weekly reports by specified deadlines, as well as ad hoc reports. 
  • Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. 
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Education:

  • 2 year Technical degree preferred

Related Experience:

  • 2 – 4 years of job related experience preferred

Training / Certification:

Skills / Knowledge:

  • MS Word & Excel

Additional Information:

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility
