Specialist - Plant Engineering (Inventory) NE

Position Summary:
Perform administrative and technical support directly related to plant engineering and maintenance activities in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Order, receive, distribute, and organize spare parts and consumable materials in central receiving for department.
- Input and track parts in SAP system.
- Monitor spare parts and consumable materials in the Common Warehouse.
- Assist in the coordination of spare parts inventory in maintenance shops via audits.
- Maintain daily/weekly reports by specified deadlines as well as ad hoc reporting.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management Systems (BMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Safety Management Systems (SMS) requirements.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Education:
- 2 year Technical degree preferred
Related Experience:
- 2 – 4 years job related experience preferred
Skills/Knowledge:
- MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Access
Additonal Information:
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
