The Associate, PR & Communications role supports the Genesis Motor North America PR & Communications team by providing administrative, operational, and project coordination support across a variety of business functions. Reporting to the Senior Group Manager, this position plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department while assisting with product launches, media relations activities, vendor management, budgeting, and special projects.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business and gain exposure to a wide range of public relations and communications initiatives that support one of the fastest-growing brands in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support PR and communications initiatives, including vehicle launches, product communications, corporate communications, and lifestyle PR activities.
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes and action items.
  • Assist with the creation of presentations, reports, and other departmental communications.
  • Support vendor management activities and help track project deliverables and timelines.
  • Serve as a key contact for budget administration, including purchase requests, scopes of work, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
  • Contribute to department projects and ensure operational processes are executed efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
