WHAT YOU WILL DO
- The Senior Manager, Genesis Field Strategy will drive strategic objectives and priorities through the field by coordinating communications and field training to elevate the field teams’ expertise. This role is strategic in nature, working closely with regional counterparts and field personnel by communicating field priorities and managing the completion of field initiative assignments. In addition, this role will serve as the key liaison between the field and NHQ functions. The selected candidate will work closely with key stakeholders within Genesis Motor America (GMA), to ensure alignment with and concurrence from our Product Strategy, Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Care, After-Sales, and Customer Service departments.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead GMA’s national field initiatives and communication including but not limited to; field priorities and Field assignment tracking and completion, communication strategy for launching field initiatives, and organizing monthly field calls.
- Support regional strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Regions and Corporate Strategy team by conducting region reviews/IMS (Individual Market Strategy) meetings and regional roundtable meetings.
- Coordinate with various NHQ departments to deploy field notices, announcements, and postings.
- Serve as the lead in managing and coordinating retailer and field training initiatives working with various departments in coordination efforts.
- Manage the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Attitude Survey rollout process and prepare update reports as needed.
- Manage the Retailer Marketing Co-Op budget tracking/spending and reconciliation of Tier III Marketing fund while working in conjunction with Marketing on policy and enhancement updates.
- Manage the Genesis Retailer Grand Opening process: tracking readiness in collaboration with the field team, event dates, budget management and executive scheduling.
- GMNA Master File and support of organizational org charts and distribution list updates.
- Effectively hire, train, motivate, develop, and retain staff. Utilize the diverse talents of direct reports by efficiently managing time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support the organization’s future success and direction.
- Support special projects as needed.
- Review of concierge related vendor proposals to make recommendations to GMA leadership.
- Approve all time off, training, expense reporting, and spending for direct reports, as applicable.
- Manage direct reports as applicable; conduct regular performance evaluations of direct reports, where applicable; develop employee business focus and plans for direct reports for the year ahead.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Eight or more years of automotive retail and/or OEM experience.
- At least five years of automotive field or market experience preferred.
- Understanding of automotive industry (OEM & Retail) processes; specifically in the areas of distribution, CRM, digital retailing, vehicle delivery and sales KPI’s.
- Experience developing, implementing and communicating business strategies and plans.
- Experience establishing Key Performance Indicators.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make decisions and act with an entrepreneurial mindset, while working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Skilled in managing a fast-paced environment, multiple projects, and coordinating with agency personnel.
- Proficient in creating and delivering executive-level presentations and related materials.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong Project Management Skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Salesforce, Market Master Online, Experian Velocity, SAP, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $107,800.00 - $154,000.00 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
