JOB TITLE
Employee Relations Planning
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Conduct ongoing research and analysis of employee relations, labor relations, and workplace trends to support proactive identification of workforce risks, morale concerns, and engagement opportunities.
• Support the design, execution, and tracking of ER strategies and programs aimed at improving employee experience, morale, and trust in management.
• Coordinate and support ER led morale and engagement initiatives (such as Family Day, mobile engagement tools, surveys, and employee experience programs), ensuring activities are well planned, clearly communicated, and aligned with business priorities, timelines, and operational needs.
• Develop, maintain, and support communication, training, and information tools, including presentations, guidance materials, and newsletters, to promote consistent messaging, shared understanding of policies and expectations, and effective people practices across the organization.
• Archive and generate quantitative and qualitative reports for HMGMA management as requested.
• Perform additional ER-related administrative or project-based tasks as assigned in support of departmental objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Minimum:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
• At least one to three years of professional experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Internal Communications, Business Operations, or a related people focused function.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating reports, presentations, and guidance materials.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing data and developing business proposals or recommendations.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting ER or HR in a manufacturing or large scale workforce environment.
• Ability to translate employee feedback and engagement data into actionable business insights.
• Familiarity with communication strategies and leadership development concepts.
Competency Based:
• Information gathering, trend analysis, and clear summary of findings.
• Effective presentation of complex or sensitive topics.
• Strong editorial judgment and content adaptation skills.
• Experience supporting training or people management materials.
Travel Requirement
• Domestic / International travel required.

Physical Demands
While in Office:
This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed
When in Production Area (if applicable):
• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations
• Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds)
• Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment
• Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively
• Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required
• Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly
• Consistent and punctual attendance
• Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
