JOB TITLE

[Biz Admin] (GAF) Business Support Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The General Affairs Administrative Specialist is responsible for supporting all activities related to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. This position will also support other divisions of Human Resources and Administration as needed and as assigned.  

 

Maintains a pro-team member environment and learns, demonstrates, and upholds the Core Values of HMGMA.  

Performs special assignments as assigned by management.  

Consistently meets company safety goals.  

Reports to GA Manager and Assistant Manager 

 

Initiative:  

Identifies problems and acts in light of this identification to address the problem and any possible future problems.  

Motivates team members through clear and consistent communication. 

Develops trust in all relationships internally and externally.  

 

Office Environment:  

Establish an office environment (ordering furniture, office supplies, etc.)  

Manage janitorial vendor.  

Procurement of all office supplies 

Assists with coordinator of company events and activities. 

Expatriates support: 

Temporary apartment lease contract and management  

Support related to school admission for children. 

Administrative procedures for obtaining SSN or driver’s licenses. 

Mobile phone plant review and payment 

Interpreting and translating written material as necessary  

Distributes daily mail and overnight packages.

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Minimum: 

Minimum +1 years of relevant years of experience  

Bachelor’s degree required. 

Valid Driver’s License Required 

Flexibility for working hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.  

Competency Based:  

Displays knowledge and skills necessary to perform assigned duties, understands process, procedures, standards, methods, and technology related to assignments.  

Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience required. 

SAP experience is preferred.  

Travel Requirement 

Domestic / International travel required. 

 

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement 

Employment opportunities at HMGMA will be completed in multiple phases.  

Shift assignment for this position may change to meet the business needs.

Physical Demands 

While in Office: 
This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include: 

Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds) 

Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents 

Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed 

When in Production Area (if applicable): 

Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations 

Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds) 

Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment 

Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) 

Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively 

Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required 

Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly 

Consistent and punctual attendance 

Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
