Eligibility: This posting is for All Campus.
• Oversee General Assembly Offline and Test Line operations and serve as a technical expert by applying process engineering methodologies to improve system efficiency and performance.
• Coordinate and lead project activities to analyze testing and repair processes and specifications, identifying opportunities for improvement in operations and testing.
• Control and manage systems associated with equipment used in the Test Line and Repair Area, including electronic diagnostic equipment, IQIS, Wheel Alignment (W/A), Headlamp Aiming (HLA), EOL Coding, ADAS Calibration, and related systems.
• Support and troubleshoot vehicle testing and automation systems, including calibration equipment, CAN communication networks, and electronic diagnostic systems to ensure operational reliability and accuracy.
• Utilize data analysis, observations, and time studies to identify and resolve issues related to assembly quality.
• Determine, develop, and optimize assigned equipment and processes while continuously improving performance in the assigned area (safety, quality, productivity, cost, and human factors)
• Perform periodic equipment verification and calibration to ensure test equipment accuracy and analyze deviations by comparing pre- and post-calibration results.
• Prepare documentation packages by reviewing requirements and developing specifications (quality, safety, UPH, layout, and ergonomic requirements)
• Communicate and collaborate with Headquarters Design Teams regarding assembly specifications and design requirements/improvements.
• Manage inventory levels of equipment and tools required for Test Line and Repair operations
• Develop and maintain visual work instructions and process documentation to support operators in performing tasks according to work standards and procedures.
• Participate in Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem-solving initiatives as directed by management.
• Serve as a technical expert for Team Members and Team Leaders, including providing technical training as required.
• Support daily production and operational issues as required.
• Continuously review technical developments within the area of responsibility and propose new technologies and improvement projects as appropriate.
• Prepare presentations/reports on current projects, progress, and issues to management.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.
• Ability to perform multi-tasks with multiple priorities within a designated time frame.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent or equivalent desired
• (Other) No reason for disqualification for overseas travel or stay
• 1 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, fabrication and/or production environment
• 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes related to tool system
• Skills/Knowledge : MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint

Physical Demands
While in Office:
This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include:
• Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds)
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed
When in Production Area (if applicable):
• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations
• Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds)
• Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment
• Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively
• Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required
• Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly

• Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
