JOB TITLE

Production Paint Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Paint Shop Facilities personnel and contractors.

• Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, task assignments, and performance standards
• Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, address challenges, and promote best practices
• Ensure thorough cleaning of paint booths, equipment exteriors, floors, ceilings, and surrounding areas
• Oversee the control and elimination of dust, debris, and airborne particles
• Monitor and maintain air filtration systems, exhaust fans, and ventilation units
• Schedule and supervise inspections and preventative maintenance of booth intakes, grates, ductwork, and filter housing.
• Ensure all cleaning and disposal activities comply with company policies and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks, filter changes, inspections, and waste disposal
• Prepare reports for upper management on facility conditions, team performance, and compliance metrics
• Work closely with paint shop operators to minimize disruptions and maintain clean production flow
• Coordinate with Environmental Health & Safety teams to ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Support engineering and quality teams in identifying and resolving contamination-related issues

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Experience with vehicle production (Minimum 2years)
• MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent desired
• Job related experience in an engineering/industrial environment pref
• Domestic / International travel required.

• At least 1 year of experience in facilities management of paint shop operations. Strong understanding of air filtration systems and environmental controls

Physical Demands
While in Office:
This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include:
•    Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds)
•    Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents
•    Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed
When in Production Area (if applicable):
•    Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations
•    Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds)
•    Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment
•    Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
•    Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively
•    Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required
•    Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly
•    Consistent and punctual attendance
•    Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
