JOB TITLE

Plant Engineering Civil Associate

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•    Support the supervision and management of Civil construction for the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant Americas project. 
•    Support the management of Civil works and Civil design contractors on the owner's side
•    Assist in complying with the construction schedule and installing appropriate equipment according to Hyundai Motor Group standards
•    Responsible for technical and economic construction management activities to fulfill design and construction requirements
•    Basic knowledge of civil engineering. 
•    Responsible for document creation and management
•    Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives, and oversee development and achievement of them across the organization.
•    Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions.
•    Develop architectural plans and review associated projects in all stages: setting materials, finishes, techniques, methodologies, analyzing data and information.
•    Monitor and supervise the work and services defined. 
•    Responsible for supervising construction companies at the construction site. 
•    Meet all other requirements as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

•    More than 2 years construction or engineering experience as site manager or engineer                              
•    Experience in managing more than 30 team members.
•    Experience with construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
•    In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
•    Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
•    Exceptional time management, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
•    Bachelor's degree in construction management or related area
•    More than 2 years construction or engineering experience in industrial field in the US
•    Experience with industrial construction on owner side.
•    Experience with industrial building maintenance on owner side.
•    State approved license preferred (Such as PE)
•    Domestic / International travel required

Physical Demands
While in Office:
This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include:
•    Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds)
•    Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents
•    Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed


When in Production Area (if applicable):
•    Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations
•    Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds)
•    Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment
•    Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
•    Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively
•    Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required
•    Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly
•    Consistent and punctual attendance
•    Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
