WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • This position is responsible for defining and executing the comprehensive media strategy, encompassing both Tier 1 and Tier 2 media buying and planning. This position will lead all aspects of media measurement and optimization, ensuing data-driven decision maximize return on investment.
  • This role will also oversee our key partnerships with industry leaders such as Google, Meta, NBC and Disney, as well as manage our agency relationship with Canvas.    

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead Marketing team media efforts, ensuring all channels are informed, synced and working collaboratively towards executing on strategy.
  • Spearhead development of KPI dashboards and ad hoc analyses in collaboration with agencies and internal partners to inform marketing investment decisions.
  • Lead short-term and long-term business planning for Marketing, including forecasting of KPIs and budget required to achieve objectives.
  • Manage and direct media strategy and planning, including both lifestyle and In-Market media investments.
  • Lead and direct Regional Marketing Amplification Program (RMAP) program, including strategic planning, execution, and ongoing support.
  • Lead tier 3 asset creation, communication to retailers and alignment with brand team calendars 
  • Own compliance reviews and enforcement of tier 3 co-op program rules.
  • Schedule and coordinate quarterly and ad hoc retailer subcommittee meetings.
  • Effectively coach, counsel, and develop team members. Utilize the diverse talents of the team by efficiently managing time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
  • Team direction, goal setting, and performance evaluation.
  • Signature authority on PRs, POs based on Finance matrix. 
  • Budget management.
  • RFP and vendor selection.
  • Signature authority on expense reports and time-off reports for direct reports.
  • Conduct hiring interviews, make hiring recommendations, extend approved hiring offers.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Ten or more years of experience.
  • Ten or more years of experience.
  • Five years of experience at a managerial level.
  • Five plus years of marketing experience.
  • Five to seven years of related automotive experience.
  • Agency and/or vendor experience helpful.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced and multi-cultural environment. 
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships at a variety of corporate levels.
  • Ability to craft and deliver the right message to the right audience.
  • Strong public speaking ability.
  • Strong analytical affinity with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with media planning and strategy.
  • Familiarity with budget and accounting functions.
  • Strong automotive industry knowledge.
     

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $137,025 - $203,000 annual base range
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
