WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Group Manager, Genesis Strategic Operations & Governance, is responsible for leading the Governance process for monthly performance management. This work includes partnering with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Customer Experience, and Product Planning to ensure achievement of business objectives. This position also supports Genesis executive leadership by managing cross-functional strategic initiatives related to Genesis, including management and tracking of KPI’s.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead and consult on timely development of monthly division performance management materials and executive presentations with cross-functional teams. Continually identify and implement improvements to existing processes.
- Partner with Sales and Field Operations to develop innovative techniques to enhance management of key regional strategies.
- Facilitate “lessons-learned” and “problem solving” sessions for key stakeholders to help the organization continually improve market performance.
- Promote greater “action item” follow-up across the organization through enhanced guidance, support, and tracking. Drive accountability and speed.
- Help the business clarify roles & responsibilities to improve efficiency. Support alignment of regional actions with global KPI’s.
- Propose, test, and execute new approaches to improve data analytics and reporting capabilities. Partner with Digital Business Planning teams to increase data accuracy, availability, and reliability.
- Lead program management office for near-term cross-functional, high impact business improvement projects.
- Lead or support other cross-functional projects, such as new product launch initiatives, that are of high strategic importance to the business.
- Effectively hire, train, motivate, develop, and retain staff. Utilize the diverse talents of direct reports by efficiently managing time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
- Manage direct report(s); conduct regular performance evaluations of direct reports, where applicable; develop employee business focus and plans for direct reports for the year ahead.
- Approve all time off, training, expense reporting, and miscellaneous spending for direct report(s).
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- MBA is a plus.
- Ten or more years of automotive experience, ideally in Product Planning, Marketing, Operations, Business Planning or Corporate Strategy roles.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry, particularly luxury brands and electric vehicles.
- Five years of leadership experience required.
- Mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong orgranizational and team leadership skills.
- Effective communciation and presentation.
- Extremely strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and present data effectively to executive management.
- A passion for products and following / understanding competitor strategies.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $137,025 - $203,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.

OTHER DETAILS
- Physical requirements: Normal office duties
- Occasional overnight travel required, domestic and international (10%).
- Work Model: Hyundai/Genesis is currently in a temporary hybrid work model. Please note that we will be transitioning to a 100% onsite work model effective Monday, July 28, 2025.
