WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Manager, Genesis Sales Field Operations is a high-impact, revenue-generating sales leadership role directly responsible for accelerating volume, market share, retailer profitability, and revenue performance across their assigned region through leadership of the Sales Market Manager team. This role sets field direction, establishes performance expectations, and ensures disciplined execution of Genesis sales strategy across the region and its markets. Serving as the primary bridge between regional leadership and the field, the Senior Manager leads Sales Market Managers in driving retailer performance, removing barriers to retail conversion, improving KPI execution, and strengthening retailer accountability to Genesis standards. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, people leadership, cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable regional revenue and market results.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Lead and develop the Sales Market Manager team across the assigned region, setting clear expectations, coaching to performance, and driving accountability for wholesale, retail, CPO, market share, retailer profitability, and revenue generation.

Own regional sales performance by identifying trends, diagnosing gaps, and directing market-level action plans to improve retail conversion, retailer execution, and revenue outcomes.

Translate Genesis sales strategy into field execution by aligning Sales Market Managers on priorities such as digital retail, lead management, program compliance, inventory health, pricing discipline, and local market activation.

Lead retailer and market performance reviews using KPIs, financial data, and field insights to identify risks, remove barriers, and strengthen retailer accountability.

Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and the region, partnering cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Marketing, CX, Product, Customer Care, and regional teams to ensure consistent execution and communication in support of Genesis growth objectives.

Build organizational capability through talent selection, coaching, succession planning, and ongoing development to strengthen field performance and leadership bench strength. Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on regional risks, opportunities, retailer network challenges, and operational improvements needed to drive growth.

Exercise independent judgment in setting priorities, addressing performance issues, and implementing corrective actions to improve sales, revenue, market share, retailer performance, and customer experience.

Lead, evaluate, and develop Sales Market Managers, including providing performance feedback and recommendations on hiring and organizational structure.

Determine when to escalate regional or operational risks and coordinate cross-functional support to resolve issues and protect business objectives.

Apply sound judgment to balance short-term revenue performance with long-term brand health, retailer capability, and organizational effectiveness.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience with automotive retailers, OEM field operations, sales operations, or retailer development required.

Luxury or premium brand experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success leading field teams and improving performance across sales, CPO, market share, retailer profitability, customer experience, or operational execution.
- Experience influencing retailer principals, regional leaders, and cross-functional headquarters partners preferred.
- Experience in digital retail, lead management, sales conversion strategy, and KPI-driven field leadership preferred.

- Compensation Range: $114,800.00 - $164,000.00 annual base salary
