WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • The Sr. Group Manager, Genesis House Business Operations & Finance, is a strategic leader responsible for driving financial performance and operational excellence for Genesis House. Reporting to the Director, Genesis Brand Experience, this role oversees financial planning, forecasting, and analysis while guiding initiatives that strengthen governance, optimize resources, and support marketing and operational priorities.
  • With a focus on aligning to global Genesis standards, this leader plays a key role in elevating brand presence and driving topline growth. Success in this role is built on strong communication, proactive relationship management, and the consistent delivery of high‑impact business results.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead monthly forecast and accrual process by meeting with internal and external stakeholders to prepare subsequent forecast and accrual reports for review and submission. (including restaurant P&L)
  • Provide Business Unit managers with individual key volume and spending reports, including analysis of spending versus budget, MOM and YOY.
  • Oversee the monthly and year-end preparation of accruals, including interfacing with vendors and Agency Finance/billing to confirm accuracy and resolve problems.
  • Responsible for preparing annual business plans and maintaining annual forecast and expense targets for the Business Unit.
  • Manage and coordinate all activities related to the preparation and submission of the Division’s annual budget.
  • Partnering with Accounting team to ensure that the month end close financial are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Collaborates with Genesis Global Headquarters team to understand global brand strategy and aligns with the Executive Director, Genesis Brand Experience, Genesis House & Studios on how to use brand venues to further brand engagement.
  • Execute business plans designed to drive topline revenue and guest experience satisfaction, and profitability at Genesis House restaurant.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Role is accountable for decisions that involve of tens of millions of dollars.
  • Provide suggestions for process and other job-related improvements thorough analysis and critical thinking.
  • Manage direct report(s); conduct regular performance evaluations of direct reports, where applicable; develop employee business focus and plans for direct reports for the year ahead.
  • Approve all time off, training, expense reporting, and miscellaneous spending for direct report(s).
  • Provide aid, supervision, direction, and evaluation to BU and direct reports.
  • Execution of programs & initiatives to further GMA’s corporate goals.

  • Compensation Range: $137,025.00 - $203,000.00 annual base salary
