WHAT YOU WILL DO
This role offers the opportunity to apply data analytics within Internal Audit at a global automotive leader. You’ll work on high‑impact audits, gain exposure to senior leadership, and help drive smarter, data‑informed decisions across the organization.
We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Internal Audit with a strong background in data analytics and audit to join our highly visible Internal Audit team. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, third‑party audit partners, dealers, and suppliers to deliver actionable insights that strengthen governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Oversee the audit process from planning to execution and reporting for operational, compliance, supplier, and dealer audits.
- Plan and execute financial, operational, compliance, supplier, and dealer audits.
- Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and control gaps.
- Develop audit workpapers supported by accurate, reliable, and well‑documented data
- Utilize data analytics tools to enhance audit coverage and efficiency.
- Coordinate audit fieldwork with third‑party co‑source partners.
- Draft audit reports that clearly summarize findings and recommendations.
- Support the development and monitoring of corrective action plans.
- Perform special projects and investigations as requested by Internal Audit leadership.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support enterprise risk objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Five or more years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, data analytics, or financial analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., VLookup, PivotTable) desired.
- Experience with ERP systems (especially SAP) a plus.
- Experience working with analytics tools such as Alteryx, Python, Tableau, and SQL a plus.
