WHAT YOU WILL DO
This role plays a critical part in planning, tracking, and optimizing vehicle sales, production, wholesale, and retail volumes that support national sales operations.
As Hyundai’s product portfolio expands across multiple production regions, accurate sales forecasting, production planning, and inventory management are essential to controlling costs and ensuring the right vehicles reach the right markets. This position is ideal for a data‑driven professional who enjoys transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Sales Planning & Data Analysis
- Analyze vehicle sales, wholesale, retail, and production performance to support national and regional sales plans.
- Track sales trends, inventory levels, and production status to improve forecast accuracy and inventory turns.
- Provide wholesale and retail availability analyses to support allocation and distribution decisions.
Reporting, Queries & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and optimize queries and reports using query languages and database tools.
- Extract and validate data from enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Generate ad-hoc analyses and dashboards to support leadership and cross-functional teams.
Forecasting & Strategic Support
- Support sales, wholesale, and production forecasting using historical data and market trends.
- Use independent judgment to recommend adjustments to production and sales plans as market conditions evolve.
- Prepare and present sales planning insights in clear, executive‑ready presentations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with PLM, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, and Distribution Operations to align targets.
- Coordinate with supply chain and distribution teams to ensure optimal stock levels by model, channel, and region.
- Document and continuously improve planning processes, methodologies, and reporting standards.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Five or more years of experience, of which at least four years of directly related experience in distribution and or sales planning and analysis in the automotive industry or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, logic aptitude, and familiarity with statistical modeling and statistical concepts are preferred.
- Computer knowledge includes, but is not limited to: databases, query languages, spreadsheets (Excel), and word processing.
- Good organizational and teamwork skills.
- Strong automotive industry and technology knowledge is preferred.
