WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • The Associate, Collision & Mechanical Parts Pricing position supports the pricing of all Collision & Mechanical parts.
  • Works with Management to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that continue to meet competitive market demands while achieving corporate profit objective.
  • Performs market research and studies market conditions relative to parts pricing to ensure that HMA is competitive in the marketplace.
  • Monitor pricing actions to evaluate effectiveness and recommend appropriate solutions. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

       Collaboration:

  • Interfaces with MOBIS on pricing issues and resolution.
  • Researches pricing inquiries from Field Ops, regions, and internal users; supports resolution.
  • Supports parts profitability through analysis of historical data, projected sales, and gross profit margins.

    Pricing Operations:
  • Manages daily maintenance of parts pricing for the Parts Master file.
  • Reviews FOB, MSL, and MPI pricing from vendors.
  • Maintains and updates parts pricing databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Ensures Dealer Parts Price files are completed accurately and on time.
  • Supports pricing recommendations through data analysis and industry experience.
  • Assists with parts pricing activities and other duties as needed.
  • Conducts parts pricing research to support OEM benchmark and aftermarket strategies.

    Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare, review, and distribute Month End reports.
  • Support the Collision & Mechanical Parts Pricing team in developing and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc status reports.

    Budget & Purchasing:
  • Department Budget Support – Support the annual department budget, monitors monthly budget compliance, and resolves variance issues.
  • Facilitate invoice processing and approvals with internal departments.
  • Accept FOB, MSL, MPI pricing from various vendors.
  • Apply Dealer, Wholesale, Suggested Retail, Core charges pricing applications based on department policy.
  • Performs daily tasks and analyses following established processes.
  • Works under general direction with authority limited to routine decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a High School graduate.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience of which at least one year of directly related experience in pricing is desired.
  • Automotive understanding of vehicle parts, parts pricing, parts sales, parts operational experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow effective interaction with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, work under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $56,550 - $78,000
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
