WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform audits on corporate departments, suppliers, and dealers as deemed necessary.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Support audit projects by assisting in planning and executing financial, operational, compliance, supplier, and dealer audits under the guidance of the North America Internal Audit (“HMNA IA”) Management and/or senior team members.
- Assist with preparing audit reports that clearly, concisely, and accurately summarize results.
- Conduct data analyses to support audit procedures and help identify potential issues, working closely with experienced auditors to develop corrective recommendations.
- Perform assigned audit testing and document results with attention to detail, following established procedures and checklists.
- Participate in special projects as directed by the HMNA IA Management, such as preparing presentation materials or compiling audit results/data.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and contributing to team efforts by assisting tasks assigned by the HMNA IA Management.
- Collaborate with HMNA IA Management to respond to situations requiring decisions be made for the benefit of the company.
- This is a support position, focused on delivering day-to-day tasks and analyses with a degree of autonomy while receiving general instructions and supervision.
- Exercise of discretion and independent judgment directly related to significant management and/or general business operations is not required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Two or more years of relevant work experience is required.
- Experience in public accounting, internal audit, data analysis, or financial analysis a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Highly resourceful, self-starter, driven, with the willingness to grow and learn new skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Learn and retain new concepts and technology quickly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, work under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and pay close attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Index Match, etc.) and other data analytics tools desired.
- Ability and discretion to work with extremely confidential information.
- Professional Certification relating to Accounting/Audit/Fraud Examination/Data Analysis (i.e. CPA, CIA, CFE, Alteryx Certification, etc.) a plus.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $54,375 - $75,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
