WHAT YOU WILL DO
- The primary responsibilities of the Manager, Accessory Sales & Planning Coordination is to project manage accessory sales, planning and development activities, communications, reporting, budgets and calendars for maximum sales and profit efficiency, improved workflow, and target achievement.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Coordinate accessory development calendars and track milestones
- Assist with developing presentation decks and tracking activities to ensure on-time launch of accessories
- Coordinate accessory launch coordination meetings among various stakeholders
- Coordinate expense and capital budgets to support accessory planning and go-to market needs
- Support the Sr. Manager, PIO Sales and the Accessory Planning Team as needed by interfacing with Distribution, Glovis and Mobis, Product Planning, Pricing, PLM, Finance and other business units to support Accessory sales and development
- Consolidate, support and submit divisional reporting necessary for corporate governance, launch meetings, HMC/Affiliate requests, weekly performance reporting and special projects
- Track department initiatives related to accessory planning, development and status reports in conjunction with Sr. Accessory Planning Managers
- Assist and coordinate department needs for tracking accessory development with key suppliers beginning from initial vehicle concept based on the long-range strategic vehicle plan to vehicle production.
- Coordinate cross functionally with HMC, HMC Customizing Team and HMNA Product Planning in addition to coordinating all HMA, Affiliates, and non HMA groups to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and business performance of Accessories.
- Investigate and/or propose accessory offerings from vendors and partners. Investigate opportunities to offer new accessories that focus on vehicle system integration, enthusiast accessories, lifestyle accessories, vehicle performance and connectivity.
- Support development of ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasts on PIO sales, and PIO programs and promotions
- Support tracking supply of all developed accessories to support PIO sales and forecasting.
- Budget Review and input for Annual Budgeting of related workgroups within Accessory Planning.
- Review and submission of PO’s and invoices in adherence with finance policies.
- This role performs work directly related to management or general business operations of the company.
- The role requires the regular exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Five or more years of experience directly related in automotive/ automotive related with focus on collaboration across a broad set or diverse workgroups.
- Two or more years of project management experience desired.
- Experienced in managing large financial budgets.
- Expert in PowerPoint
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx and other data query methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to structure presentations for senior management.
- Excellent analytical skills, with detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

- Compensation Range: $91,000.00 - $130,000.00 annual base salary
