WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Manager, BEV Infrastructure & Charging Experience leads the development and execution of customer‑centric EV charging programs, with a strong focus on the public charging customer journey. This role partners cross‑functionally and externally to improve how customers discover, access, and use charging solutions across Hyundai and Genesis.

Hyundai Motor America is a dynamic, agile organization that combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up with the strengths of a global, technology-leading OEM. A successful individual in this role will be an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to “block and tackle” when necessary, and someone who embodies a team-first, no-job-is-too-small mentality.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Own the public charging customer journey, mapping and improving how EV customers discover, access, understand, and use charging across Hyundai and Genesis.
  • Lead end‑to‑end EV charging programs, managing timelines, deliverables, risks, and outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize charging partnerships, working directly with charging networks, infrastructure vendors, and mobility partners to ensure performance, scalability, and a strong customer experience.
  • Translate customer insights into action, using data, feedback, and market trends to refine charging offerings, communications, and program design.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, digital, marketing, dealer, regulatory, and global teams to align charging solutions with broader EV strategy.
  • Drive executive‑ready storytelling, developing clear materials and recommendations that communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leaders.
  • Continuously improve charging programs, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance usability, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support Hyundai’s electrification goals, playing a visible role in scaling public charging solutions as EV adoption expands.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Six or more years of experience with an automotive OEM, EV/public charging, mobility, climate tech, or a related tier-1 mobility industry desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience in the public charging industry with automotive OEM, CPO, eMSP, or infrastructure partners.
  • Proven ability to manage cross‑functional programs and external partnerships.
  • Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and stakeholders.
  • Experience translating customer insights and market trends into actionable strategies.
  • Solid understanding of automotive, EV, and environmental technology strategy.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, from working teams to senior leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.
