WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and manage the execution of strategic environmental partnership initiatives to launch new business lines, elevate the Hyundai and Genesis brands’ green images, and cement both brands’ positioning as an EV leader while improve the ownership experience for Hyundai and Genesis customers.
  • Work with key internal (HMC, HATCI, CRADLE, Dealer, etc.) partners and external partners to operate and optimize current and future charging and energy programs to achieve strategic objectives.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Oversee the operational management of existing EV infrastructure partnerships programs.
  • Use advanced knowledge to manage the launch of new customer programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at Hyundai Motor Corporate (HMC) and Hyundai Motor America (HMA) to prioritize and manage out of home charging programs and/or initiatives.
  • Develop KPIs to track the performance of partnerships against targets and oversee monitoring of those metrics to ensure partnerships achieve strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with product strategy and regulatory compliance teams to ensure that strategic partnership programs align with and deliver against department priorities.
  • Manage and prioritize complex work streams across multiple ongoing projects.
  • Engage key Hyundai and Genesis dealers in initiatives as local partners to maximize impact for Hyundai and Genesis customers.
  • Support the development of specific and actionable business plans for new business lines and revenue streams that align with Hyundai group objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of go-to-market strategies that take new businesses from minimum viable product launches to full-fledged business lines.
  • Exercise discretion to operationalize business plans to launch business lines and achieve milestones and ROI.
  • Continuous improvement of EV charging communication to customers and dealer training for all out of home charging topics.
  • Proactively pursue new strategic initiatives related to EV charging and infrastructure.
  • Plan, execute, lead projects with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Work directly with strategic partners and outside resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Engage and mobilize internal partners (after-sales training, marketing channels, engineering, digital business planning, and dealers).
  • Support management of a small team to successfully execute program fixed operations.
  • Budget tracking and management.
  • Oversee PR/PO processing, invoice reconciliation, and billing.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • Six or more years of experience with an automotive OEM, sustainability, climate tech, or in the broader tier-1 mobility industry desired.
  • Experience in the public charging industry with automotive OEM, CPO, eMSP or in the broader tier-1 industry.
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs desired.
  • Experience in planning and implementing strategic partnerships with external third-party partners.
  • Experience in the Climate technology and Green Vehicle / EV space desired.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to learn different systems, and coordinate with teams managing those systems to execute programs.
  • Adept at identifying key consumer insights and market opportunities and developing them into actionable strategies.
  • Effective knowledge of automotive industry strategy and environmental technology industry strategy.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to influence internal and external management from the C-suite to working levels.
  • Proven track record presenting complex analyses in straightforward, digestible formats to enable effective executive decision-making.
  • Robust computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects.
