WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Manager, Connected Car Program leads the day‑to‑day management, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of Hyundai’s Connected Car ecosystem, including Bluelink, Genesis Connected Services, and future connected offerings. As one of Hyundai’s most critical and fast‑growing business areas—where every vehicle will ultimately be connected—this role plays a key part in shaping the future of Hyundai’s connected services strategy. Partnering cross‑functionally, this leader drives launch readiness, post‑launch optimization, and data‑driven KPIs that enhance customer experience, program health, and overall business impact across both Hyundai and the rapidly growing Genesis brand.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
KPI and Program Health Management
- Lead tracking, coordination, and analysis of all Connected Car Program KPIs.
- Build and evolve automated dashboards covering all aspects of program performance.
- Publish monthly KPI reports and performance updates to stakeholders and executives, presenting insights and findings.
- Identify and resolve issues impacting customer enrollment and conversion funnel.
Customer Experience and Owner Touchpoints
- Drive continuous improvements to owner experience touchpoints including mobile apps and web channels.
- Influence content strategy for owner communications (email, in‑app, in‑car messaging) coordinating with departments to ensure implementation and be accountable for results.
Product Expertise and Content Accuracy
- Serve as a trusted product expert on all current and future Connected Car features and services.
- Lead reviews of internally produced content to ensure accuracy and quality.
Budget, Forecasting and Business Case Management
- Manage the department budget and oversee Connected Car business model forecasting (actuals, long‑range, and future modeling).
- Reconcile monthly program performance with Finance and Accounting for accurate forecasting.
- Oversee direct reports handling test vehicle fleet management and budget/business case tracking.
Cross‑Functional Leadership and Operational Alignment
- Drive cross-functional alignment for program priorities, launch readiness, and post‑launch performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and business partners to support program execution.
Launch Support and External Representation
- Develop product and training guides as needed for product launches.
- Support product launch activities including vehicle testing and and represent Connected Car features to media or journalists as needed.
- Day-to-day business lead of B2C Connected Car programs
- Manage applicable program business partners and vendors.
- Write and specify business requirements.
- Make appropriate decisions in the absence of the Sr. Group Manager.
- Manage activities and performance of future integrations and timeliness.
- Communicate issues to management.
- Directly supervise staff, possibly including contractors.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Six years of relevant experience, of which at least three years related experience driving growth and positive change of a complex technology driven product or service is required.
- Automotive telematics or connected consumer product experience, a plus.
- Experience working in a subscription business model, a plus.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $107,950 - $135,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
