WHAT YOU WILL DO
- The purpose of the Cross Carline group is to support HMNA PDO in all matters that impact profitability across multiple carlines.
- As a Senior Manager, you are a dynamic leader with valuable experience that can provide the PDO executive team with a well-executed analysis of financial data, create proposals for how to improve profitability, influence cross-functionally to gain alignment, think strategically, and react with urgency and flexibility to changing external factors. You will work closely with stakeholders from product planning, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, R&D, and finance, to identify and execute opportunities to meet profit targets. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude towards the challenges we face and will act with tenacity, data-driven thinking and integrity.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- The primary output is the PQCOP report, including the synthesis of all profitability inputs, analysis and providing data-driven suggested actions to PDO management.
- Take on special projects related to cross-carline profit improvement, such as cost optimization, common features or developing financial tools for optimizing net revenue.
- Support Hyundai PDO and Genesis PDO teams during peak times for milestone preparation.
- Lead annual business plan target development for VCOP and TdC across all models.
- Use advanced knowledge to optimize targets according to each market’s competitive environment, performance, and improvement plan.
- Monitor monthly sales and finance performance for each market.
- Maintain PM2 quarterly and year end status.
- Assist with expanding HMNA PDO office capability.
- Product development, price positioning, sales and material cost management.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Six or more years of professional experience in automotive manufacturer/distributor with direct product responsibilities (planning, marketing, and/or sales).
- Supervisory experience desired.
- Cross-functional team management experience is required.
- Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency.
- Good organizational and data mining skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point of view.
- Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills required for external and senior leadership interactions.
- Strong automotive technology knowledge.
- Korean as second language is a plus.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $86,800 - $124,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
