WHAT YOU WILL DO

Hyundai is looking for an innovative, relationship‑driven Manager, Experiential Marketing to help shape the future of our brand experience. In this highly visible role, you’ll support the Sr. Group Manager, Experiential Marketing and play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and executing immersive consumer experiences that bring Hyundai’s brand to life across the country.  This position is ideal for a strategic, hands‑on marketer who thrives in fast‑paced environments, excels at customer hospitality, and loves being on the road—with extensive travel to major national events, auto shows, partnership activations, and premium VIP experiences.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement experiential marketing strategies aligned with Hyundai’s marketing objectives and goals.
  • Oversee planning and execution of experiential programs, sponsorships, and hospitality initiatives to maximize consumer engagement.
  • Approval of program objectives, thematic direction, overall look & feel, campaign tactics and creative executions.

Brand Awareness & Perception

  • Create immersive brand experiences that increase awareness, consideration, and positive perception of Hyundai.
  • Ensure all activations reflect Hyundai’s brand identity and deliver measurable impact.

Program Management

  • Manage end-to-end execution of auto shows, events, sponsorship activations, and hospitality programs, including budgeting, timelines, and vendor coordination.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (Social, CRM, Digital, PR, Sales, Dealer Development) and external agencies to ensure seamless integration of experiential initiatives.
  • Support dealer engagement through experiential programs that drive showroom traffic and sales opportunities.

Strategic Alliances Management

  • Supervise development and implementation of Hyundai alliances (including sponsorships, entertainment marketing, sports marketing and integrated media partner programs); research, review and evaluate opportunities for Hyundai to reach consumers through new, creative channels.

Budget Management

  • Oversee planning and responsible use of multi-million-dollar Experiential Marketing budget; must be able to maximize available resources and demonstrate ability to adapt to economic conditions.

Communication

  • Effectively communicate and interact with executive team, fellow employees, regional management, national dealer body, the consumer public and, occasionally, the media; ensure timely distribution of Executive Communications and Executive Recaps.

Partner Management

  • Manage multiple agencies and vendors; define roles & responsibilities, provide strategic direction.
  • This position requires ability to solve problems, make decisions, and operate independently.
  • Position evaluates direct reports.  
  • Position approves travel and expenses for direct reports.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • 6 years of experience with at least 5 years directly supporting Experiental Marketing efforts is required.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work non-traditional hours is rqeuired
  • Ability to work with internal cross-functional teams, vendors, and agency partners is required
  • Experience managing and negotiating contracts is required
  • Experience delivering premium, executive‑level hospitality at large‑scale events, with the ability to create seamless, high‑touch experiences for VIPs, partners, and internal leadership.
  • Agency experience a plus.
  • Automotive industry a plus
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment, with multiple projects and vendor partners.
