WHAT YOU WILL DO

Provides directional support for and contributes to the successful management of Asian, African American, and Hispanic marketing initiatives in alignment with the approved Multicultural Go-to-Market plan and General Market advertising, messaging, and communications strategies. Responsibilities encompass creative development and production, campaign strategy, agency & partner management, social media management, sports integrations, experiential programs, dealer education, research, and community affairs endeavors.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Guide and support the execution of marketing campaigns tailored to specific cultural, diverse, and intersectional communities.
  • Oversee and supervise all related marketing and program budgets.
  • Direct external agencies, vendors, suppliers, and partners in developing authentic, culturally resonant creative and influencer programs.
  • Guide market research teams in analyzing cultural trends, consumer sentiment, and performance metrics to optimize messaging and audience engagement.
  • Develop and implement multicultural marketing communications plans with localized regions and key dealers and top markets to support these initiatives.
  • Guide Tier 2 support for Hispanic creative.
  • Coordinate programs and projects with relevant departments and resource groups to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • When managing staff, coach, counsel, and develop team members while effectively allocating time, materials, and budget in support of company goals and vision.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions about project executions.  
  • Determine what issues and or projects need to be brought to Senior Management attention.  
  • If supervising employees, needs to be responsible for determining work load, evaluating and approving all time and expense reports for direct reports.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Bachelor’s degree or Masters's degree a plus.
  • Six to seven years of experience of which at least five years of directly related experience in Marketing/Advertising required.
  • Proven track record of delivering compelling presentations to senior leadership, with strong executive presence and the ability to build relationships across executives, management, and agency partners required.
  • Automotive, agency and/or relative client-side experience strongly a plus.
  • Ability to manage high-paced environment with multiple projects and agency personnel a plus.
  • Bilingual (Korean/English) with a strong written and verbal communication skills a plus.
