WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage the Incentive Planning function at Hyundai Motor America (HMA), including Competitive Analysis, Budget Forecasting, and Incentive Scenario Development.
  • Manage Incentive Planning and Budgeting for the EV model line.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Gather and Manage input and recommendations from Sales and HMA Regional Offices on future incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with Regional Offices to determine the most efficient Program Spend.
  • Participate in Incentive Budget Planning and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage Inputs for Monthly Governance processes, including:
    • Consolidation of Competitive Data.
    • Preliminary pricing for HMF Retail and Lease Programs.
    • Preparation of PowerPoint slides and coordination with Product Line Management teams on incentive recommendations
  • Manage HMA Budget Forecasting Process with input from Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF).
  • Manage validation of HMF subvention retail and lease programs and authorize payment to HMF.
  • Maintain competitive data sources and subject matter expertise on all competitive incentive programs at the regional level.
  • Communicate with Sales on Incentive Program Performance.  Make recommendations for improvements and optimization of current programs.
  • Manage direct reports, effectively coach, counsel, and develop staff. Utilize the diverse talents of the staff by efficiently managing staff's time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
  • Use advanced knowledge to support ad hoc requests from HMC and various departments.
  • Manage direct reports allocating workload and providing guidance.
  • Route HMF APR & Lease subvention payments.
  • Initiate PO requests for various competitive data vendors.
  • Hiring and performance evaluations for direct reports.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Six or more years of experience of which at least two years of directly related experience in automotive/automotive related with focus on quantitative and competitive analyses.
  • Auto lending experience preferred. 
  • Two to three years of supervisory experience desired.
  • Experienced in managing large financial budgets.
  • Excellent operations management skills, with working knowledge of C&I activities a plus.
  • Experienced in managing teams to work well under pressure and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to structure presentations for senior management.
  • Good analytical skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and programming languages
