WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • The Sr. Associate, Maintenance Parts Pricing position supports the pricing of all Maintenance parts.
  • Works with Management to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that continue to meet competitive market demands while achieving corporate profit objectives.
  • Performs market research and studies market conditions related to parts pricing to ensure that HMA is competitive in the marketplace & implement effective pricing strategies to help meet corporate profit objectives.
  • Monitor pricing actions to evaluate effectiveness and recommend appropriate solutions. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Collaboration

  • Interfaces with MOBIS on pricing issues and administers resolution.
  • Research inquiries from Field Ops, regions, and internal users related to pricing, and support resolution.
  • Help support parts profitability through analysis of historical data, projected incremental sales and gross profit margin.
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance Parts Planning and Sales team to analyze promotions and assess impact on gross parts profit margin.
  • Coordinate pricing updates with HAEA and IT teams.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing UAT for pricing changes.

Pricing Operations

  • Manage the daily maintenance of Parts pricing for all parts on the Parts Master file.
  • Accept and review FOB MSL MPI pricing from various vendors.
  • Maintain and update all Parts Pricing databases to help ensure data integrity and accuracy of data.
  • Support pricing recommendations to leadership through analysis of critical data and applied industry experience.
  • Validate billing impacts, maintain pricing governance, exclusions, and overrides.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare review and distribute Month End reports.
  • Develop and maintain daily weekly monthly reports.
  • Develop pricing recommendations and forecast financial outcomes.

Budget & Purchasing

  • Support annual department budget and monitor compliance.
  • Facilitate approvals.
  • Support vendor pricing, policy applications, and daily pricing operations.
  • Independent judgment not required for significant management or business operation.
     

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Four or more years of experience, of which at least two years of directly related experience in pricing is desired.
  • Automotive understanding of vehicle parts, parts pricing, parts sales, parts operational experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow effective interaction with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, work under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Competent level database management capability.

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $63,800 - $88,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
