WHAT YOU WILL DO

Assist the Director of Sales Operations and the Sr. Vice President of National Sales with ongoing and new initiatives related to dealer performance management, and dealer, internal, and regional relations and communications. Interface with the regions to ensure alignment of dealer, field and headquarters priorities. Help drive HMA success and improve dealer relations through the proper management of our National Dealer Advisory Council and the respective Sub-Committees. Act as key liaison between the Business and IT departments and lead effort to plan, coordinate, develop and communicate key company initiatives to the field and dealers through Dealer Performance Management system.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Dealer Performance Management

  • Oversee all aspects of the DPM system, including enhancement and maintenance of dealer, regional, and national dashboards and action‑planning processes.
    Manage the approval/denial process for requested system changes to ensure alignment with the DPM vision and corporate priorities.
  • Advise DPM Executive leadership to keep KPIs focused, relevant, and aligned with Operations leadership.
  • Ensure consistent communication of KPIs from HMA to dealers through the DPM system.
    Develop short‑ and long‑term plans, set milestones and deadlines, and validate direction with National Sales leadership.
  • Delegate UAT testing to SMEs and ensure quality control.
  • Collaborate across departments to support informed decision‑making and resolve issues.
    Serve as the primary point of contact for all DPM‑related inquiries.
  • Communicate system progress and alignment to executives.
  • Provide timely reporting, analytics, and presentation materials.
  • Anticipate future informational needs and leverage resources to improve efficiency.
    Assist or lead governance processes.
  • Maintain strong communication with regions, dealers, and cross‑functional partners.

National Dealer Advisory Council 

  • Coordinate dealer relations activities, including all NDAC and sub‑committee operations.
    Manage meeting planning, scheduling, cadence, and execution with internal teams and third‑party vendors.
  • Develop meeting minutes and ensure clear communication to executives, regions, and dealers.
  • Prepare written summaries of NDAC events for HMC, Executive Leadership, and dealer communication.
  • Coordinate RDAC schedules, minutes, agenda development, and executive responses.
  • Track sub‑committee decisions, develop action plans, and ensure approved changes are incorporated into DPM.
  • Provide data‑driven recommendations to National and Regional Management to support sales objectives and strengthen NDAC.
  • Provide department leadership, staff supervision, program development, issue identification, and solution development.
  • Employee evaluations, expense approvals, and program/budget decisions require Director or Sr. VP approval.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Ten or more years of experience, of which at least eight years of directly related experience in the automotive industry.
  • Field and District Sales Manager experience a plus.
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
