WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Senior Group Manager, Regional Sales Planning is responsible for creating and managing monthly regional sales plans for each of our 7 HMA regions. This role is key in developing a regional sales plan for each region to effectively measure and track regional sales achievement, inventory availability/pipeline and profitability.
- The development of regional carflows by model for each region will be the foundation for our regions to track product availability to achieve regional sales and profit targets.
- Strong business acumen will be critical in coordinating and communicating with various stakeholders including Finance, HMNA Production Planning, Distribution and our regions. Success will require sophisticated process and project management skills, as well as strong analytical, communication and process documentation skills.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Coordinate with regions to develop sales plans that maximize performance and profitability.
- Analyze regional carflows, adapt to demand changes, and align incentives with profit goals.
- Monitor wholesale/retail sales vs. plan; recommend supply adjustments to match demand.
- Collaborate with Finance, Production Planning, Distribution, and Regional Sales to address risks/opportunities.
- Train teams on SPOS regional carflow system; continuously improve accuracy with HAEA systems.
- Partner with National Sales Operations to set annual targets (sales, share, wholesale, profitability).
- Report regional sales performance, inventory, and pipeline status to executive leadership.
- Drive profit optimization through timelines, tracking, and performance management.
- Conduct “what-if” scenario planning with Finance and National Planning to capture opportunities.
- Recommend regional volume allocations to optimize national sales and profitability.
- Serve as operational SME for regional sales rundowns, reporting, and coordination.
- Provide detailed analysis and allocation recommendations by region to maximize sales outcomes.
- Influence enterprise profitability through data-driven allocation decisions impacting millions in revenue.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be a high school graduate
- Master’s degree a plus.
- 10-12 years of similar experience in a complex organization conducting planning, sales analysis, vehicle distribution, etc.
- Management consulting a plus.
- Experience creating and presenting executive facing presentations / reportsStrong analytical skills with the ability to provide robust and substantiated recommendations.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
- Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths/weaknesses and make recommendations to leverage or augment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills across diverse groups including regional staff, Finance, Executives, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Compensation Range: $149,800.00 - $214,000.00 annual base salary
