WHAT YOU WILL DO
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provide day‑to‑day leadership for enterprise cost optimization projects, tracking progress against financial targets and cost reduction goals.

Lead PMO governance, including project status reporting, quality assurance, and adherence to Cost Optimization Committee policies and standards.

Execute PMO maturity initiatives and develop the Cost Optimization Center of Excellence.

Implement, manage, and continuously improve the Cost Optimization Management System (COMS) and related digital tracking tools.

Ensure accurate financial tracking aligned with official HMA forecasts; deliver real‑time visibility and weekly enterprise reporting.

Manage and advise cross‑functional teams supporting purchasing, commercial strategy, and supply chain optimization.

Drive cross‑functional communication and executive engagement across HMA, HMNA, HMMA, HATCI, and HMC.

Represent the Cost Optimization organization in VA/VE activities; manage department budget and vendor coordination.
- Manage department budget and lead activities related to the coordination of vendors, as required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Ten or more years of relevant Complex Project Management required (preferably automotive).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or MBA is preferred.
- Project Management Office (PMO) experience is preferred.
- Vehicle Engineering experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes is a plus.

Proficiency in data management practices and report development.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Certified Project Manager Professional is a plus.

- Compensation Range: $137,025.00 - $203,000.00 annual base salary

- Physical requirements: Normal office duties.
- Position requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and may require occasional weekends and/or evenings.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time, domestically and internationally.
