WHAT YOU WILL DO
- The Senior Manager, Dealer Performance Management role supports both Hyundai Motor America (HMA) and Genesis Motor America (GMA).
- Individual will work with National/Regional stakeholders to manage Dealer Performance criteria, processes and communications related to Sales, Service, Customer Satisfaction, etc. KPIs.
- The role anticipates and assesses the analytic reporting needs of the executives, regions and Korean staff and finds creative solutions to address those needs.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the Director, Dealer Planning, Placement & Performance Mgmt. supporting both HMA & GMA.
- The Sr. Manager of Dealer Performance Mgmt. position fills the critically important role of overseeing and managing the Core Operational Performance Program (“COPP”), including all Dealer Performance KPIs and Action plans as well as ensuring the proper implementation, maintenance and reporting internally & externally.
- Design and oversee production of dealer/market analytic reports, performance management reports, and presentations for Executive staff, Regions, Coordinators when applicable.
- Maintain all internal systems support including the DPM (“Dealer Performance Management”) system to ensure accurate and timely statistical data and reporting.
- Communicate with key National / Regional stakeholders in all facets of the Performance Management process including escalation of high priority issues and directing legal communications to address serious dealer DSSA violations.
- The Performance Management process will include your timely updates with tracking reports and follow-up on submitted Dealer Performance Improvement Action Plans.
- Performance Management curriculum development and continual training of regional staff and field managers including monthly support / training of Regional Dealer Network Performance Managers.
- Liaison effectively with the Legal Department on any dealership performance related issues or lawsuits, and help with requests for document discovery, depositions and testimony as needed.
- Manage the GMPEP (“General Manager Performance Evaluation Program”) which includes tracking, evaluating, communicating performance results, and making recommendations to ensure HMA Dealer Network is supported by qualified Dealership General Managers.
- While this job description is very encompassing of your job duties, there are always expectations to perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Make independent decisions regarding market, dealer and network planning.
- Manage activities and performance of the Urban Science and S&P Global vendor accounts.
- Resolve issues and communicate to management and business partners.
- Manage and sign off on approved budget amounts.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in the automotive industry highly desirable.
- Market study and network planning experience is also highly desirable.
- Beneficial to be proficient in Urban Science MarketSmarts system or Urban Science Ni2 system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and communicate effectively.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $107,800 - $154,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.

OTHER DETAILS
- Physical requirements: Normal office duties.
- Position requires up to 10% regional travel.
- International travel may be required on occasion.
- Work Model: Hyundai/Genesis is currently in a temporary hybrid work model. Please note that we will be transitioning to a 100% onsite work model effective Monday, July 28, 2025.
