WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Senior Manager, Dealership Retail Marketing is a high-impact leadership role at the center of Hyundai’s dealer marketing strategy—driving programs that fuel performance across our retail network. This role leads the execution and evolution of key initiatives, including HDAA, dealer co-op, HDMP, and regional campaigns, ensuring they deliver results while aligning with brand and compliance standards.
Reporting to the Senior Group Manager, Regional Marketing, this leader connects national strategy to dealer success—guiding teams, partnering cross-functionally, resolving complex challenges, and using insights to continuously elevate performance, efficiency, and the dealer experience.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead the day-to-day execution and administration of Hyundai’s dealer marketing programs, including HDAA, dealer co-op, HDMP, regional, and tactical initiatives, ensuring effective delivery against business objectives.
  • Oversee marketing program governance, compliance, and operational controls, including alignment to brand guidelines, brand and pricing standards, audit preparedness, documentation quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor marketing program performance, analyze trends, and recommend actions to improve effectiveness, dealer participation, fund utilization, and alignment with national and regional marketing strategy.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to report(s), including prioritization, delegation, workload balancing, and execution accountability.
  • Serve as a key cross-functional partner to internal teams and external vendors to ensure coordinated execution, clear communication, and timely resolution of escalated dealer, regional, and program issues.
  • Oversee the effective use and integrity of Regional Marketing systems, data, and dealer-facing platforms, ensuring accurate program administration, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive process and operational improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, scalability, and overall program performance, and support additional Regional Marketing initiatives as needed.
  • This position has common senior manager-level authority defined by HMA HR/Finance policy.
  • This position exercises independent judgment in the day-to-day administration of regional and dealer marketing programs, including issue identification, problem solving, interpretation of program guidelines, and coordination of corrective actions with internal stakeholders, regional offices, and external partners. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience, including 4+ years in digital/online environments (client or agency), with working knowledge of digital marketing, website technologies, and media buying practices
  • At least three years of supervisory experience within the automotive industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and agency partners while building strong relationships across all levels and leading creative campaign development with a focus on macro strategy
