WHAT YOU WILL DO
Drive Hyundai expected network transformation and ultimately targeted incremental sales by working in close collaboration with the assigned Strategic Regions (SR) and affiliated National Sales Companies (NSC) for the development of market studies supporting the Fewer-Bigger-Better (FBB) global network strategy and for the establishment of localized implementation frameworks. Monitor the execution and market actions in-line with approved plans, supervise the execution of Financial Interventions (FI) according to established policies and manage governance at regional/global levels for timely decision-making.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Primary role will be working with the assigned SR and affiliated NSCs on developing/implementing FBB strategies for optimized Distributor/market/dealer performance and network coverage for Hyundai globally.
- Lead market studies and develops FBB strategic plans in coordination with local/regional stakeholders
- Provide guidance to assigned SR in matters relating to market representation activity and DND actions in-line with approved plan and broader FBB strategy
- Gather local markets insights to understand specific challenges, to be addressed within the FBB strategy.
- Coordinate collaboratively with the assigned SR and affiliated NSCs the adoption of standards/processes related to Dealer Performance Management.
- Provides recommendations to the CEO Executive Committee regarding network transformation strategy.
- Working with CEO office, GOD teams, and SRs to gather necessary regional/local information on activities in all markets.
- Responsible for special or projects related to Network and Distribution strategy as they become available to the Global DND group.
- Lead discussions with SRs about yearly recalibration and BP setting process related to the implementation of FBB strategy.
- Work with the assigned SRs to steer the overall implementation process in-line with expected timeframe and prioritization.
- Use advanced knowledge to supervise the execution of Financial Interventions (FI) of the assigned SR and affiliated NSCs according to established DOA/policies, demonstrating ROI for direct market actions that are targeted at sales loss areas
- Support the development of localized implementation approach by proactively facilitating among SRs/NSCs best practices related to FBB execution tactics
- Coordinate and manage vendor/supplier relationships.
- Provide support and guidance to the SR/NSC in the execution of regional/local investor events designed to engage and attract top performing “Rainmakers” into FBB implementation.
- Support the organization/coordination of Global DND events with local/regional/global DND stakeholders.
- Works in collaboration with Global DND Team #2 to elaborate reports regarding network transformation progress
- Works in collaboration with Global DND Team #2 and the assigned SR/NSC to continuously align the execution with the approved network strategy and FBB priorities, in-line with the established market KPIs.
- Manage all activities associated with the ongoing DND governance meetings of the assigned SR including; scheduling and coordinating market study presentations, compiling all presentation materials, ensuring all necessary supporting information and photographs are available, maintaining complete records, tracking and publishing of all Steering Committee decisions/recommendations.
- Supports SR/NSC channel management priorities.
- Validates SR/NSC proposed FBB strategy.
- Responsible for overseeing SR/NSC implementation of long-term network strategy.
- Responsible for SR/NSC adoption of dealer performance and representation standards/policies.
- Supports facility program.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Eight or more years of wholesale automotive experience including five years in positions relating to market analysis and dealer representation planning and placement.
- Knowledge of business operations and the ability to understand dealership operations from both commercial and financial perspectives, typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and five or more years of experience with OEM field background.
- Experience related to the India automotive market is preferred.
- Ability to build productive and effective cross-cultural relationships with DND stakeholders and Executive management, while addressing/challenging key issues to deliver on strategy expectations.
- Ability to apprehend comprehensively distinct markets environment to propose the most adequate strategic and tactical approach.
- Ability to effectively navigate multicultural organizations to gain local market insights and influence strategic outcomes.
- Other professional languages are a plus.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $107,800 - $154,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.

***This role will be based at HQ in Fountain Valley, CA. We are in a temporary hybrid work model and returning to work 100% onsite on July 28, 2025.***
