WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Sr. Manager, Global TdC Analysis, serves as a key member of the Global Profit Optimization (GPO) group under the CEO office, focusing on in-depth analysis of Global Total Delivery Cost (TdC) by vehicle. He/she collaborates with eight global regional plants and seven domestic (Korean) plants to improve cost analysis, achieve regional cost savings targets, and optimize operations. This role also develops, tests, and implements new ideas and concepts for global and regional adoption.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Influence and optimize regional TdC through collaboration with finance and cross-functional teams – Main components: Material and warranty cost.
  • Identify and drive material cost, warranty, and productivity improvements.
  • Develop and maintain analytic tools (e.g., Power BI) for global TdC analysis and standardized reporting.
  • Lead manufacturing process improvements to achieve regional cost savings.
  • Foster regional collaboration via strong project management and data-driven presentations.
  • Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams across global regions to conduct model-based TdC analysis.
  • Serve as a key analytical team member representing Global Profit Optimization.
  • Lead the development of annual CSR targets and reconcile or validate regional roadmaps.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or supply chain management or related academic background.
  • Master’s degree or MBA in related area preferred.
  • Eight or more years of progressively responsible costing/finance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in the automotive industry. 
  • Vehicle Cost expert or reengineering experience.
  • Experience with OEM productivity analysis.
  • Advanced ERP experience preferably SAP.
  • Strong written and oral communication is a must.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving ability.
  • Strong data management and statistical analysis/reporting.
  • Experience utilizing Tableau/BI tools.
  • Skilled at conflict management and enjoys dynamic environment.
  • PowerBI, SQL, Phyton, AI skills 
  • Project Management Certification (Not required but preferred).

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $107,800 - $154,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.

  • Physical requirements: Actively participate in hands-on vehicle tear-down and related activities.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic and international). 
  • Travel requirements may occasionally have short notice.
  • Occasional lifting and/or vehicle mechanical assembly/disassembly.
