WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Manager, Business Operations & Communication, will work cross-functionally to deliver strategic alignment throughout Hyundai Motor America (HMA) by successfully managing internal business communication and ensuring efficient and effective business operations. This position will support the HMA COO Office's operations, focusing on driving business growth within the USA.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Manage HMA COO Office scheduling, engagement with HMA stakeholders, and the production and consolidation of meeting materials.
- Collaborate with HMA business units to ensure alignment with organizational initiatives and priorities.
- Maintain an internal communications calendar for internal, field, and retailer-facing communications.
- Produce communication, operations, and planning presentation drafts and work cross-functionally with stakeholders to refine them.
- Use advanced knowledge and collaborate with HMA departments and HMNA Corporate Planning to manage and monitor key strategic initiatives.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of HMA’s operational activities, materials, and approvals.
- Exercise discretion to support the HMA COO Office in all business operations activities.
- Collaborate with the HMNA CEO Office to deliver alignment and communication of governance activities to the overall HMA division.
- Provide recommendations for management (direct and executive).
- Educate teams on workflow principles and ensure policies are effectively communicated and followed.
- Responsible for decision making related to corporate governance.
- Responsibilities of authority include the day-to-day operation of business, production of draft communication and presentation materials, development of key relationships between, and among employees and customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Must be a high school graduate

Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
Master’s degree a plus
-
Eight or more years of direct experience in corporate planning required.

Prior experience directly working with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to drive strategic projects is required.

Automotive OEM experience preferred.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Copilot/A.I. tools.

Effective written/ presentation communication skills.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $107,800 - $154,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
