WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and profitability for Hyundai’s Elantra, Sonata, Kona, and Venue models.
This role leads the development and execution of national and regional sales strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize inventory mix, pricing, incentives, and marketing effectiveness. The department collaborates cross-functionally to align product planning, dealer engagement, and go-to-market strategies, while continuously monitoring competitive activity and segment dynamics. This position ensures business plan targets are met and new product launches are executed with strategic precision.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Analyze vehicle performance vs. objectives and present insights to executive leadership.
- Lead vehicle positioning strategies and define Key Selling Points (KSPs).
- Provide strategic input for product planning to meet market needs.
- Collaborate on marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Work with teams to optimize incentives, pricing, and revenue opportunities.
- Validate financial impact of strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate with Distribution to manage inventory mix and production pipeline.
- Partner with Sales Operations to align on go-to-market plans and field strategies.
- Help set business objectives and identify key programs to achieve them.
- Lead Launch Committee Meetings for new product readiness and alignment.
- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports.
- Build business cases for product performance improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage strategic projects.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Eight or more years of professional experience at a manufacturer/distributor of consumer products with direct product responsibilities (planning, pricing, marketing, incentives, distribution, and/or sales).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred.
- Cross-functional project management experience is required.
- Extensive data analysis experience and data visualization expertise required.
- Ability to simplify complex issues, develop a compelling point of view, and persuasively make case for change leading to action.
- Experience with PIN, Maritz, GfK, IHS/Polk, Strategic Vision, Ace Metrix, Tableau, etc. studies/tools is a plus.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $107,800 - $154,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
